背景信息 WNT1-inducible-signaling pathway protein 1 (WISP-1) is also called CCN family member 4 (CCN4) and Wnt-1-induced secreted protein. WISP-1 adheres to skin and melanoma fibroblasts and is associated with cell survival. WISP-1 regulates the Wnt/Frizzled-signaling pathway, attenuates p53-mediated apoptosis in response to DNA damage, and up-regulates the anti-apoptotic Bcl-X(L) protein. WISP-1 is expressed in heart, kidney, lung, pancreas, placenta, ovary, small intestine, and spleen.
