背景信息	Programmed cell death 1 ligand 2 (PDCD1LG2, PD-1 ligand 2, PD-L2, PDCD1 ligand 2 or Programmed death ligand 2) is also called Butyrophilin B7-DC (B7-DC). PDCD1LG2 is critical for IFNG production and T-cell proliferation, which it inhibits, in conjunction with PDCD1, by blocking cell cycle progression and cytokine production. PDCD1LG2 is highly expressed in heart, placenta, pancreas, lung and liver.
