描述
概述	An effective antioxidant. Scavenges hypochlorous acid, peroxyl, superoxide, hydroxyl, and nitric oxide radicals. Also exhibits prooxidant properties, as demonstrated by its ability to reduce iron ions and to generate reactive sulfur-containing radicals that can damage certain proteins, such as α₁-antiproteinase and creatine kinase. DHLA has recently been shown to inhibit apoptosis in rat thymocytes induced by methylprednisolone and etoposide.
