    概述 Full-length human recombinant Hp1β (CBX5) expressed in E. Coli and purified by Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC).
    背景信息 Hp1β (CBX1) is a nuclear protien with a calculated molecular weight of 21.4 kDa. This protein is a component of heterochromatin that recognizes and binds histone H3 tails methylated at 'Lys-9' (H3K9me), leading to epigenetic repression. Hp1β does not associate with chromosomes during mitosis. It can interact with lamin B receptor (LBR), and this can contribute to the association of heterochromatin with the inner nuclear membrane.
