描述 Human Recombinant Hp1α (CBX5) 概述 Full-length human recombinant Hp1α (CBX5) expressed in E. Coli and purified by Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography (FPLC). 背景信息 Hp1α (CBX5) is a nuclear protein with a calculated molecular weight of 22.5 kDa. This protein is a component of heterochromatin that recognizes and binds histone H3 tails methylated at 'Lys-9' (H3K9me), leading to epigenetic repression. Hp1α(CBX5) has also been shown to associate with chromosomes during mitosis. This protein can interact with lamin-B receptor (LBR), and this interaction can contribute to the association of the heterochromatin with inner nuclear membrane.
