背景信息 LKB1 is a serine-threonine protein kinase and member of the calcium calmodulin family. LKB1 acts as a tumor suppressor and plays an important role in the regulation of many cellular processes. It is expressed in all tissues including pancreatic, liver, testicular, cardiac, and skeletal muscle tissue. DISRUPTION: phenotype Mice die in utero 8.5 to 9.5 dpc due to developmental retardation. Heterozygous mice develop multiple gastric adenomatous polyps.
