    背景信息 Intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (ICAM-3 or CD50) is a leukocyte differentiation antigen. ICAM-3 is thought to be important in the adhesion of the first stages of the immune response. ICAM-3 may also play a role in activating T lymphocytes. ICAM-3 is found in high levels on resting lymphocytes and is an important ligand for LFA-1. ICAM-3 is tyrosine phosphorylated and is associated with tyrosine kinase activity in human neutrophils. ICAM-3 may be the receptor glycoprotein that is the initial bacterial binding site for infective endocarditis by oral streptococci.
