背景信息 The PTM AMPylation, previously known as adenylylation, is the covalent addition of an Adenosine MonoPhosphate group to a hydroxyl side chain of threonine, tyrosine, and potentially serine residues. AMPylation of the threonine residue on such GTPases as; Rho, Rac and Cdc42 could interfere with the interaction of effectors downstream and shut down actin assembly in an infected cell.
