背景信息	Cyclin-dependent kinase 7, also known as 39 kDa protein kinase (p39 Mo15) or CDK-activating kinase 1 or Cell division protein kinase 7 or Serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 or TFIIH basal transcription factor complex kinase subunit, and encoded by the gene name CDK7 or CAK or CDKN1 or MO15, is involved in cell cycle control and in RNA polymerase II-mediated RNA transcription. Upon DNA damage, CDK7 triggers p53/TP53 activation by phosphorylation. It is then inactivated by p53/TP53, this feedback loop may lead to an arrest of the cell cycle, transcription, helping in cell recovery, or to apoptosis. CDK7 is localized to the nucleus and colocalizes with PRKCI in the cytoplasm and nucleus.
