    背景信息 Netrin-G2 ligand (NGL-2) is also called Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 4 and Brain tumor-associated protein MBAG1. NGL-2 is a synaptic adhesion protein that regulates the formation of exitatory synapses. NGL-2 is also involved in the differentiation of dendrites, supression of glioma, and is critical for auditory synaptic responses. NGL-2 is specifically expressed in brain, including the hippocampus, parietal cortex, piriform cortex, and proximal segments of CA1 pyramidal neurons.
