    背景信息 Fibroblast growth factor 13 (FGF13), also known as Fibroblast growth factor homologous factor 2 (FHF-2), is ubiquitously expressed, predominantly in the nervous system. FGF13 is a microtubule-binding protein which directly binds tubulin and is involved in the polymerization and stabilization of microtubules. FGF13 plays a crucial role in neuron polarization and migration in the cerebral cortex and the hippocampus, may regulate voltage-gated sodium channels transport, and may also have a role in MAPK signaling. FGF13 has multiple isoforms with FGF13A (isoform 1) being the canonical full length protein.
