    背景信息 Spermatogenesis-associated protein 7, also known as HSD-3.1 or Spermatogenesis-associated protein HSD3, encoded by the gene SPATA7 or HSD3, may be involved in retinal function. SPATA7 was originally isolated from testis where it is important in the development of sperm. Mutations in SPATA7 have been associated with retinal diseases such as Leber congential amaurosis 3 (LCA3) and Retinitis pigmentosa.
