    背景信息 CD282, also known as TLR2 or TIL4, is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. CD282 has been shown to interact with LY96 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipoproteins and other microbial cell wall components. Additionally, CD282 has been shown to interact with TLR1 or TLR6 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipoproteins or lipopeptides. CD282 is implied to be activated by MYD88 and TRAF6, which leads to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. CD282 may also promote apoptosis in response to lipoproteins. CD282 has been shown to interact with LY96, TLR1 and TLR6 (via extracellular domain), TICAM1, MYD88 , CNPY3 and ATG16L1. CD282 is highly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, in particular in monocytes, in bone marrow, lymph node and in spleen. It is also detected in lung and in fetal liver. Genetic variations in CD282 are associated with susceptibility to leprosy: a chronic disease associated with depressed cellular (but not humoral) immunity. Recent studies have shown that the impaired function of the Trp-677 polymorphism provides a molecular mechanism for the poor cellular immune response associated with lepromatous leprosy.
