    背景信息 Structural maintenance of chromosomes protein 1A (SMC protein 1A or SMC-1-alpha or SMC-1A), also known as Sb1.8, and encoded by the gene names SMC1A or SMC1 or SMC1L1, is involved in chromosome cohesion during cell cycle and in DNA repair and a central component of the cohesin complex. It has been reported that SMC1 is a component of the DNA damage response network that functions as an effector in the ATM/NBS1-dependent S-phase checkpoint pathway. SMC1 associates with BRCA1 and is phosphorylated in response to IR in an ATM- and NBS1-dependent manner. SMC1 is phosphorylated in an ATM-dependent manner. Mutations in SMC1 have been assoicated with Cornelia de Lange syndrome 2.

    存储条件 Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.
    Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
    Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
