背景信息 Musashi-2 (Musashi homolog 2; Msi2) is a member of the Musashi family of RNA-binding proteins that binds to mRNA sequences via their RNA-binding motifs. It is highly expressed in mammalian neural precursor cells and is involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of genes affecting CNS development. Musashi-2 is also expressed in subpopulations of neural cells in the mature CNS. Previous studies have demonstrated that the expression of Musashi-2 increases several days after brain injury.
