背景信息	Prostaglandin G/H synthase 1, also kown as Cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) or Prostaglandin H2 synthase 1 (PGH synthase 1 or PGHS-1 or PHS 1) or Prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 1, and encoded by the gene name PGS1 or COX1, is the key enzyme in prostaglandin biosynthesis and acts both as a dioxygenase and as a peroxidase. There are two isozymes of COX-1: a constitutive COX1 and an inducible COX2, which differ in their regulation of expression and tissue distribution. COX-1 regulates angiogenesis in endothelial cells and is inhibited by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin. COX-1 is involved in cell-cell signaling and maintaining tissue homeostasis. COX-1 is the target of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin.
