    应用说明 Immunohistochemistry on unfixed frozen sections and formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissues. Antigen retrieval is recommended. HEIR or protease treatment can be used.

    Western Blotting: AE1 recognizes LMW cytokeratins from the acidic subfamily including: Clone AE1 recognises the 56.5, 50, 50', 48 and 40kD human cytokeratins of the acidic subfamily.

    Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

    TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Observed in muscle fibers accumulating in the costameres of myoplasm at the sarcolemma membrane in structures that contain dystrophin and spectrin. Expressed in gingival mucosa and hard palate of the oral cavity.
    PTM: Phosphorylation on serine residues is enhanced during EGF stimulation and mitosis. Ser-74 phosphorylation plays an important role in keratin filament reorganization.
    DISEASE:SwissProt: P05787 # Defects in KRT8 are a cause of cryptogenic cirrhosis [MIM:215600].
    SIMILARITY: SwissProt: P05787 ## Belongs to the intermediate filament family.
