背景信息 CD95 is a 45 kDa cell membrane receptor protein which is member 6 of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. CD 95 functions as a mediator of apoptosis (Yonehara, 2002; Itoh, 1991). Flow cytometric studies have demonstrated CD95 expression in a population of resting peripheral blood T cells, B cells, and monocytes. A minority of resting NK cells and thymocytes express the antigen. Reactivity with granulocytes has been observed, although inconsistently. It has been shown to play a central role in the physiological regulation of programmed cell death, and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of various malignancies and diseases of the immune system.
