    概述 Integrin alpha1/beta1 was purified from human smooth muscle under non-denaturing conditions by affinity chromatography on collagen-Sepharose™. Source material was negative for HIV, HCV and HbsAg.



    Alpha1beta1 integrin interacts with and collagen type I, IV and laminin in ELISA tests.



    Two main protein bands corresponding to alpha1 (195 kDa) and beta1 (120 kDa) subunits are seen in silver stained 7.5% polyacrylic acid gels (PAAG) under nonreduced conditions. A minor protein band at the 210 kDa corresponding to beta1 subunit disulfide dimmer, which is formed during electrophoresis and disappears after reduction.

    纯度 > 95% pure by gel analysis. Nonreduced 7.5% PAAG stained with Silver stain shows major bands at 120 kDa (beta1 subunit), 195 kDa (alpha1 subunit) and a minor band at 210 kDa (beta1 subunit dimer, formed during electrophoresis and disappear after reduction), (Belkin, 1996). No contaminants identified.
