背景信息 SYNPO2L, also known as Synaptopodin 2-like protein, is a member of the synaptopodin family. SYNPO2L was initially identified as a novel heart-enriched gene that encodes a cytoskeletal protein highly expressed in the Z-disc of heart and skeletal muscle. It has been shown that even though SYNPO2L is primarily localized to the sarcomere, it can also translocate to the nucleus.
