背景信息 Wrch-1 (Wnt-1 responsive Cdc42 homolog 1; Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoU; GTP-binding protein-like 1; or CDC42-like GTPase 1) is a ubiquitous protein belonging to the Rho family of small GTPases. Wrch-1 is structurally and functionally similar to Cdc42 small GTPase but is distinctive in containing N-terminal SH3-binding motifs and exhibiting high intrinsic guanine nucleotide exchange activity. Wrch-1 is regulated by the Wnt-1 signaling pathway. Entrez基因汇总 This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of GTPases. This protein can activate PAK1 and JNK1, and can induce filopodium formation and stress fiber dissolution. It may also mediate the effects of WNT1 signaling in the regulation of cell morphology, cytoskeletal organization, and cell proliferation.
