背景信息	Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO (AXL) is a member of the Tyr protein kinase family. It is a single-pass type I membrane protein containing two fibronectin type-III domains, two Ig-like C2-type domains and one protein kinase domain. AXL mRNA is widely expressed with the highest levels in the heart and skeletal muscle. Gas6/AXL signaling plays a role in cell survival, cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. Mutations in AXL have been assoicated with thyroid carcinoma and many other cancers.

Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
