背景信息	Peroxiredoxin-1 (PRDX1) is a thiol reductase belonging to the AhpC/TSA family. It plays a critical role in oxidative and thermal stress defense mechanisms through its abilities to metabolize H2O2 and act as a molecular chaperone. PRDX1 may also play an important role in eliminating peroxides generated during metabolism.
