背景信息 PANK2 (Pantothenate kinase 2) phosphorylates pantothenic acid (vitamin B(5) and regulates the overall rate of coenzyme A (CoA) biosynthesis. PANK2 thereby plays an important role in lipid metabolism and energy production.
