背景信息 Also known as tetratricopeptide repeat protein 8, TTC8 is a BBSome complex that is required for ciliogenesis. It is known to associate with the Rab8 GDP/GTP exchange factor, which is localized in the basal body. Rab8(GTP) is produced and enters the primary cilium, where it promotes ciliary membrane biogenesis.
