背景信息	Paired mesoderm homeobox protein 2B (PHOX2B) is a transcription factor found in the brain and adrenal glands. PHOX2B is required for the proper development of the peripheral autonomic nervous system, and plays an important role in defining noradrenergic phenotypes in vertebrates. Defects in PHOX2B result in congenital central hypoventilation syndrome.
