背景信息 NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-4 (SIRT4) is also called NAD-dependent ADP-ribosyltransferase sirtuin-4 and SIR2-like protein 4 (SIR2L4). SIRT4 catalyzes the transfer of ADP-ribosyl groups onto target proteins, and has been shown to inhibit GLUD1 enzyme activity, down-regulate insulin secretion and is involved in chromatin silencing. SIRT4 is believed to be a transcriptional regulator in embyonic stem cell and hematopoietic stem cells.
