背景信息 Lysine-specific histone demethylase 1B (KDM1B) is also referred to as Flavin-containing amine oxidase domain-containing protein 1 and Lysine-specific histone demethylase 2. KDM1B is a histone demethylase that acts on 'Lys-4' of histone H3, a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation, and essentially functioning as a corepressor, and is critical for de novo DNA methylation of specific imprinted genes during oogenesis.
