背景信息	The fibroblast growth factors play key roles in controlling tissue growth, morphogenesis and repair in animals. FGF-4 is a heparin binding growth factor that stimulates the proliferation and activation of cells that express FGF receptors. Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation, and cell differentiation. Required for normal limb and cardiac valve development during embryogenesis.
