背景信息 HEN1 methyltransferase homolog 1, also known as Hen1, and Small RNA 2’-O-methylase, is a methyltransferase that adds a 2'-O-methyl group at the 3'-end of piRNAs. This modification is believed to protect the 3'-end of piRNAs from uridylation activity and subsequent degradation.
