背景信息	Cystinosin (CTNS) is a lysosomal membrane protein that is made up of seven transmembrane domains, a 128 amino acid N-terminal region bearing seven N-glycosylation sites, and a cytosolic C-terminal GYDQL sorting motif. Mutations in CTNS have been associated with and inherited disorder, cystinosis, characterized by defective lysosomal efflux of cystine.
