背景信息 Fatty acid-binding protein 5 (FABP5) is also called Fatty acid-binding protein, epidermal, Epidermal-type fatty acid-binding protein (E-FABP), and Psoriasis-associated fatty acid-binding protein homolog (PA-FABP). FABP5 has a high specificity for fatty acids, particularly for C18 chain lengths. The addition of double bonds or decreasing chain lengths reduces FABP5 affinity.
