    Expected size in reduced western blots human pancreas is 130-135kDa, because NBC is a glycoprotein the band may not be sharp and is higher than the predicted 116kDa size by th cDNA. Membrane preparations and proteinase inhibitors are recommended.

    SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen sequence is 83% conserved in rat. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.
