    背景信息 NDGR3 is a member of the N-myc down-regulated gene (NDGR) family which includes NDGR1-4. NDGR3 is ubiquitously expressed but is abundant in the brain, testis, prostate, and ovary. The precise role of NDGR3 has not been elucidated; however, previous studies have suggested that NDGR3 may play a role in spermatogenesis in mice, and aberrant expression of NDGR3 may lead to the proliferation of prostate cancer cells. NDGR3-mediated tumor growth may be due to upregulation of various angiogenic chemokines such as chemokine ligands 1, 3, and 5, which promote angiogenesis in tumors.
