背景信息 POPDC2 (popeye domain-containing protein 2), also known as NET3, is a member of the POP family and is associated with striated and smooth muscle tissue development. POPDC2 is thought to be a plasma membrane protein containing three N-terminal transmembrane domains and a cytoplasmic carboxy terminus. POPDC2 is uniquely expressed in large numbers in the developing heart and could be used as a marker of myocardial differentiation.
