背景信息	Alpha-1-acid glycoprotein 2 (AGP 2), also known as Orosomucoid-2 (OMD 2), is a key acute phase plasma protein. Because of its increase due to acute inflammation, this protein is classified as an acute-phase reactant. The specific function of ORM1/2 has not yet been determined; however, it may be involved in aspects of immunosuppression. ORM1/2 is expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma.

Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
