This complex (alphaVbeta3) is widely distributed on monocytes/macrophages, endothelial, platelets, most cells and tumour cells. As well as binding victronectin the complex also binds fibrinogen, VWF, thrombospondin, collagen, fibronectin and osteopontin. This antibody recognizes specifically this alphaVbeta3 complex.
