背景信息 Whamm (WASP homolog associated with actin, membranes, and microtubules) is a mammalian nucleation-promoting factor that controls many cellular components through the Arp2/3 complex. Whamm seems also to be an essential regulator of membrane dynamics at the intersection of the actin and microtubule cytoskeletons. Whamm organizes the cytoskeleton and has a part to play in the structure and effectiveness of the Golgi complex. 应用说明 Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:500 dilution of a previous lot of this antibody detected Whamm in NIH/3T3 cells. This antibody positively stains cytoplasm and membrane. The staining pattern is as expected: stains the membrane/cytoplasm, including ER, Golgi, etc,. Staining is also localized to a perinuclear compartment near the microtubule-organizing center (MTOC).
