背景信息 Trisomy of human chromosome 21 result in patients with Down's syndrome, which is a complex developmental and neurodegenerative disease that is characterized with abnormal morphological features, hypotonia, and mental retardation. The DSCR3 (Down syndrome critical region gene 3) gene is found in this region. DSCR3 expresses Down syndrome critical region protein 3, which is reportedly expressed in many studied tissues.
