背景信息 Natural killer cell receptor 2B4, also known as NK cell activation-inducing ligand (NAIL) or NK cell type I receptor protein 2B4 (NKR2B4/h2B4) or SLAM family member 4 (SLAMF4) or CD244, and encoded by the gene name CD244 or 2B4, is the only heterophilic receptor of SLAM family and an important regulator of Natural Killer (NK) cell activation. It is expressed on NK cells as well as on subsets of T cells and interacts with SLAMF2, causing the activation of both SLAMF4- and SLAMF2-expressing cells.
