背景信息 Radioprotective 105 kDa protein (RP105), also known as Lymphocyte antigen 64 (LY64) or CD180 antigen precursor (CD180 antigen, CD180), is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLRs) family. It contains 19 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats, 1 LRRCT and 1 LRRNT domains. Recent studies suggest that RP105 may interact with MD-1 and TLR4 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in B-cells. Additionally, it is implied that RP105 is involved in NF-kappa-B activation, as well as the life/death decision of B-cells. It has also been suggested that the RP105/MD-1 complex influences antibody production mediated by both TLR4/MD-2 and TLR2 receptor complexes.
