背景信息 Kallistatin is a human tissue kallikrein inhibitor. Kallistatin inhibits human tissue kallikrein's activity toward kininogen and tripeptide substrates, Inhibition is achieved by the formation of a stable inhibitor and enzyme complex, and with the generation of a cleaved C-terminal fragment at the reactive site of kallikrien.
