- Western Blotting
应用说明 Western Blot: 1:1,000-1:2,000 (using ECL). Reacts strongly with a single major band (~25kDa) on denaturing Western blots of bovine adrenal medulla and rat brain fractions. Will not detect SNAP-25 following proteolysis with botulinum neurotoxins A and E.

No cross reactivity with SNAP-23 is expected.
SNAP-25 is specifically cleaved close to the carboxyl terminal by the botulinum neurotoxins (BoNT) A and E which are known to inhibit neurotransmitter release.
