背景信息 Tyrosine hydroxylase plays an important role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. It is the first and rate-limiting enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of the catecholamines Dopamine and Norepinephrine from tyrosine. TH is, therefore, a useful marker for dopaminergic and noradrenergic neurons. The enzymatic activity of TH requires ferrous ions as cofactors and is believed to be regulated by phosphorylation. 应用说明 Immunohistochemistry(peroxidase): A previous lot of this antibody was used at 1:1,000 dilution. The antibody gives specific labeling of noradrenergic axons in primate cerebral cortex (Brain Res., 1989, 500:313-324.).
Note: It is important that you use a secondary antibody that has significant reactivity to sheep IgG1 since the majority of the sheep immunoglobulin is IgG1.

Handling Recommendations: Upon first thaw, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
