背景信息	Histone deacetylation acts a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. HDAC7 is a member of the class II histone deacetylase family, which deacetylate lysines on the core histones. HDAC7 also inhibits the expression of Nur77. During T cell receptor activation, HDAC7 is exported from the nucleus, leading to Nur77 expression and therefore facilitating apoptosis. HDAC7 is also thought to play a role in certain autoimmune disorders. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for HDAC7.
