背景信息 In mammals, the Musashi family is important for cell fate determination, playing roles in maintenance of the stem-cell state, differentiation and tumorigenesis. MSI2 or Musashi2 is a member of RNA-binding proteins that appear to play central roles in post transcriptional gene regulation. The MSI2 gene encodes a protein containing two conserved tandem RNA recognition motifs.
