背景信息	CD103 is the aE integrin subunit of the heterodimeric aEb7 integrin belonging to a small b7 integrin subfamily. CD103 is expressed on more than 95% of intraepithelial CD8+ cells and on 40% of mucosa-associated T cells, whereas less than 2% of resting blood lymphocytes are CD103-positive (Kruschwitz,1991). Anti-CD103, Ber-ACT8, was included in the Fifth International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens, and studies by a number of laboratories confirmed its reactivity with CID 103 (Cepek,1995).
