    背景信息 Fas-binding factor 1 (protein Albatross) is a keratin-binding protein that is important for cellular stability. Albatross combines with Par3 to control the structure of the apical junction complex. Loss of albatross expression has been linked to a weakening in cell-cell adhesion and a propensity for the existance of single cells. Albatross, in addition to other keratin binding proteins, may be involved in the polarization of epithelial cells.
