背景信息 Cyclin-dependent kinase-like 5 (CDKL5) is a serine/threonine-protein kinase that mediates phosphorylation of Methyl-CpG-binding protein 2 (MECP2). MECP2 is a chromosomal protein that binds to methylated DNA, specifically to a single methyl-CpG pair.
