背景信息 Histone deacetylase 10 (HDAC10) is a class II histone deacetylase, based on homology to HDAC6, that may be important in transcription regulation. HDAC10 is comprised of an amino-terminal catalytic domain and a carboxy pseudo-repeat. HDAC10 is found in the nucleus, where it is thought to function as a transcriptional modulator, and in the cytoplasm, where function is still unknown. Class II HDAC’s have been associated with breast cancer progression and estrogen dependence.
